ORIA
Effective date: July 19, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Oria SMP Minecraft server, the oriamc.com website, our Discord community, and our support page (together, the "Service"). By applying for the whitelist, connecting to the server, or using the website, you agree to these Terms and to our Server Rules, which are part of them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Oria is an 18+ community. You must be at least 18 years old to apply, play, or make a payment. You also need a legitimate Minecraft: Java Edition account and must comply with Mojang's own Minecraft EULA and Usage Guidelines.
Access is granted per person, not per account: one whitelisted Minecraft account per player, linked to your Discord identity. Your whitelist spot is personal — do not share your account or let others play on it. You are responsible for everything done through your account, and applying under a second account while whitelisted is grounds for a permanent ban.
All play is governed by the Server Rules (no griefing or stealing, no cheating or X-ray, respect for others, and the rest). We may warn, mute, roll back, suspend, or permanently ban any player, and remove any build or content, at our reasonable discretion to protect the community — with or without prior notice. Gameplay is monitored (including an audit log of in-game actions and automated anti-cheat analysis) for exactly this purpose.
You keep whatever rights you have in the things you build, write, and say on the Service. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and share that content as part of operating and promoting the Service — for example on the live world map, in Discord via the chat bridge, and in screenshots or videos of the server. The world and its data remain part of the Service and may be modified, rolled back, or reset as needed to operate it.
We aim to keep Oria online 24/7 on dedicated hardware, and we take that seriously — but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be briefly unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control, and we may change or discontinue features. Because tips are voluntary and confer no entitlement, downtime does not give rise to refunds or compensation.
Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. Oria SMP is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. All Minecraft game content is owned by Mojang; everything Oria-specific (our name, logo, website, and tooling) belongs to us.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oria and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of in-game items, builds, progress, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you tipped us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violating these Terms or the Server Rules, or to protect the community or the Service. Sections 5, 6, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before any formal dispute, please contact us — nearly everything can be resolved with an email to [email protected].
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and announced in our Discord. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
